The long anticipated Spring issue of PLOTS WITH GUNS is up and once again I wedged myself in there. Truly honored to be included with so many talents. Thanks again, Neil, for your guidance and patience. The story "Passed" was written last Spring. Actually thought about updating it last night to reflect some of the BP-Haliburton disaster in the Gulf...but then I woke to an email from Doc Noir saying it was live. Hell with it, I'm letting this one ride. Originally I wrote the short as a submission for MWA's supernatural anthology, but I suppose it wasn't zombie-vampire-lycanthropish enough. Whatever. Ghosts haunt us all.
And one more thing...one of the "dog pile" in the right column just got kicked upstairs. Congratulations, Mr. Blackmoore, on the two book deal! Of course this means you are kicked off the dog pile and now can hang your hat with the real deal cats. I'll leave you on there for a few days, you know, so you can pack your things...before I call security.

To his self-deprecating astonishment he's also been nominated for the Story South’s Million Writers Award twice without sending the judges so much as a thank you note. He co-edited the satiric transgressive fiction collection D*CKED: DARK FICTION INSPIRED BY DICK CHENEY and his debut novel KOKO TAKES A HOLIDAY is out now from Titan Books.
