Yesterday I had to take a pass on a cool little project that I hope finds the right writer. Sometimes it's hard to say no, and there's no way not to feel a bit bad about that. Kind of stuck my neck out on too many things lately, bit off more than I can chew, and I need to keep focus until I get to the other side of things. On a lighter note...tonight is my first in-person Caps game in a stretch. Rocking the red down at the phone booth in DC. Sabres clocked the Caps this past weekend which was, like, freakin' absurd, so I expect payback. Which reminds me, Chris Holm wanted to collaborate on a hockey story this year, I think. Got my BEAT TO A PULP anthology from the six word story contest a few days ago--wonder if he's still down for that? Maine guy. I wonder if he's already buried under snow. Hmm....
BIO
KIERAN SHEA’s fiction has appeared in dozens of venues including Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Thuglit, Dogmatika, Word Riot, Plots with Guns, Beat to a Pulp, Crimefactory, and Needle: A Magazine of Noir ...as well as in some beefy-looking anthologies most of which will make you question the tether of his shiny, red balloon. To his self-deprecating astonishment he's also been nominated for the Story South’s Million Writers Award twice without sending the judges so much as a thank you note. He co-edited the satiric transgressive fiction collection D*CKED: DARK FICTION INSPIRED BY DICK CHENEY and his debut novel KOKO TAKES A HOLIDAY is out now from Titan Books. Kieran divides his time between 38°58′22.6″N- 76°30′4.17″W and 39.2775° N, 74.5750° W.
