He co-edited the satiric transgressive fiction collection D*CKED: DARK FICTION INSPIRED BY DICK CHENEY and his debut novel KOKO TAKES A HOLIDAY is out now from Titan Books. Pelecanos Brief

A few hours before yesterday's Caps' game against Buffalo(awesome--suck it, Leopold) a dear friend and I lunched at this stalwart DC landmark found, I believe, in more than one of the Greek's novels. Again, it's been a while. Crisped up half-smoke loaded (and I mean LOADED) with everything. I think I can have, what? One of those tasty babies every other year or so? Sweet Jesus, are those good. But between you, me, and my stickler-health nut of a doctor? Damn, I'm glad I had my blood drawn on Monday for the annual physical. Coming to DC or need a tasty refresher?
