To his self-deprecating astonishment he's also been nominated for the Story South’s Million Writers Award twice without sending the judges so much as a thank you note. He co-edited the satiric transgressive fiction collection D*CKED: DARK FICTION INSPIRED BY DICK CHENEY and his debut novel KOKO TAKES A HOLIDAY is out now from Titan Books. Lordy, for those transgressive-blow-the-hood-off-of-your-crime-fiction geeks I recommend you grab this opportunity with both hands and feet if you possibly can. Seriously...I'm not kidding here...I've said it before and I'll say it again...this novella is some of the bravest fiction I've read in the last ten years. Biblical. Destructive. Bold.

I wish all writers had Jed's guts, but then again, where could we go from there with the whole world on fire?
