Dim Sum Gone
Bummer. My favorite area dim sum joint closed. Found out the hard way by showing up with my expectant kids, all ramped up and pining for steamed BBQ pork buns and taro root cakes. Sucks. Now I have to find a new place. My youngest was so sad, we ended up talking about adaptation and exploring new places. She has that wild wire in her. "You mean I can try a whole bunch of places until we find the right one?" "Yep." "I can handle that." Onward.
