As Zombies Go...

Man, this was one of my favorite reads this past summer, and (really) I'm not a huge zombie fan. Well, okay...maybe I'm 60% zombie-fan, but it better be well-written and John Hornor Jacob's stuff. Or maybe all the way out there like Garth Ennis' CROSSED (which pretty much burned the Walking Dead down) or Charlie Huston or Stephen Blackmoore's city-dwelling, cigarette-stubbing, undead shamblers. And lest we forget the best Italian horror movie ever...(yeah, I'm a fan of that too.) Anyway, here's hoping the film will do Isaac Marion's WARM BODIES justice. Funny stuff. With soul. And I love the fact that the trailer uses that Trogg's song. Onward.
