Just a thought...not that I have any grand ideas or anything, certainly not. But we've all had our bloody fill of zombies, lycanthropes, time travel shenanigans, wizards, witches, androids, aliens, warlocks, vampires...where are the GIANTS? And I don't mean Eli and company because those guys just stunk up the joint this year like last week's tuna casserole. Anybody know of any real giant novels...not just character appearances? Like a Dr. Manhattan giant war would be cool, y'know? None of that Honey, I Shrunk the Kids stuff. Pretty difficult to pull off in fiction I'm sure, but that said...here's a favorite Stones video of mine that Leary and company paid tribute to a few years ago promoting RESCUE ME. Oh yeah, Keith doing the King Kong 5-string Telecaster swagger around lower NYC? That's pretty scary-cool indeed. Sorry, but you're going to have to suffer through a commercial before the video starts....

To his self-deprecating astonishment he's also been nominated for the Story South’s Million Writers Award twice without sending the judges so much as a thank you note. He co-edited the satiric transgressive fiction collection D*CKED: DARK FICTION INSPIRED BY DICK CHENEY and his debut novel KOKO TAKES A HOLIDAY is out now from Titan Books. Kieran divides his time between 38°58′22.6″N- 76°30′4.17″W and 39.2775° N, 74.5750° W.
