To his self-deprecating astonishment he's also been nominated for the Story South’s Million Writers Award twice without sending the judges so much as a thank you note. He co-edited the satiric transgressive fiction collection D*CKED: DARK FICTION INSPIRED BY DICK CHENEY and his debut novel KOKO TAKES A HOLIDAY is out now from Titan Books. Kieran divides his time between 38°58′22.6″N- 76°30′4.17″W and 39.2775° N, 74.5750° W.

In From the Kinda Wild
Back from camping last night and luck fell on the left side of chance. No rain, glorious weather, dolphin show two hundred yards right off the beach. No waves to speak of but great to hang under the salty sky with family and friends. Famed Assateague ponies even made a galloping appearance, my youngest shouting from atop the dune in silhouette, "Daddy, Daddy! The ponies are here!" For those bacon fans in the crowd, and you know who you are, morning was amazing mix of aromas with crackling pig in the wind. Wrote another story in my head and I need to get it down. Heard not so good things about the KICK ASS movie, but I also heard (late, of course) that Millar's NEMESIS is on tap for a movie. If you haven't seen this comic get your fanny in gear. The "anti" Batman...but until then I am excited about Ironman 2. Are you?
