As many already know NEEDLE: A Magazine of Noir launched today. Hats off to all involved...authors and mad scientist editors alike. Truly a heady mix of vision and talent. I liken the experience to a bunch of gin-crazed goofs piling into a Hudson Hornet a la Neal Cassady, mashing the gas, and blitzing off into the unknown. Who knows what doom or glory awaits this independent crime fiction rag? You want a copy? Go here, now. When Issue One-Volume One arrives in the mail, devour its bloody pages and leave it in your bathroom. Going to warn you. Next party you throw you might have to pound on said bathroom door and ask your guest what the hell is taking them so long. After forty minutes you might need to kick the door in, whereupon you will find your guest curled on the throne with their feet asleep. They won't even acknowledged you when you slap them. They will merely hold up their index finger begging you for "one more"...please...just one more story.
In other news...Charlie is at it again over at St. Christopher's A Twist of Noir. With Crimefactory and the Needle Magazine...and now ATON...Charlie is exhausted.

He co-edited the satiric transgressive fiction collection D*CKED: DARK FICTION INSPIRED BY DICK CHENEY and his debut novel KOKO TAKES A HOLIDAY is out now from Titan Books.
