Best Thinking and The Joe
Up early today to drop off the in-laws @ Reagan outside DC. Some driving. Ideas blurred in my head as I creeped across SE badlands back to Route 50 East. Thinking about this now as the pink rises in through the trees. Unvarying tasks for me are the creative breeding ground. I used to say my strongest ideas came to me when I was mowing the lawn or when I was prepping mise en place. Or walking. Today it was driving. There's magic moving in me this morning (or so I hope). Or it could be the two large cups of coffee from the greatest roaster on earth: Misha's. If you're ever in Alexandria, Virginia...stop.
