Every once in a while God throws you a bone, saying, s'all good, slacker. Stuck down here in Maryland I had the Jersey lunch jones today and found this Weather Channel gem on YouTube. Local heroes of the Garden State--Cartaret and Scotch Plains--The Smithereens, playing "White Castle Blues". Oh, do I remember hanging out on a hotel floor in Reading, PA with these guys back in the day. Taste the slider love.

He co-edited the satiric transgressive fiction collection D*CKED: DARK FICTION INSPIRED BY DICK CHENEY and his debut novel KOKO TAKES A HOLIDAY is out now from Titan Books.
