BIO

KIERAN SHEA’s fiction has appeared in dozens of venues including Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Thuglit, Dogmatika, Word Riot, Plots with Guns, Beat to a Pulp, Crimefactory, and Needle: A Magazine of Noir ...as well as in some beefy-looking anthologies most of which will make you question the tether of his shiny, red balloon. To his self-deprecating astonishment he's also been nominated for the Story South’s Million Writers Award twice without sending the judges so much as a thank you note. He co-edited the satiric transgressive fiction collection D*CKED: DARK FICTION INSPIRED BY DICK CHENEY and his debut novel KOKO TAKES A HOLIDAY is out now from Titan Books. Kieran divides his time between 38°58′22.6″N- 76°30′4.17″W and 39.2775° N, 74.5750° W.

And...here...we...GO!

Okay, okay, okay...got the salty snacks. Got the couch. Got the tumbler of Diet Coke. Got the word count in and the green light on my less than stellar yard work. Even grumbled through church this morning so back off. It's all about me and my time now. NY Giants vs Dan Snyder's sickly, over-valued albatross. Gee. Look at that. Agent of chaos in the photo left is pimpin' the NYG colors (all right, not exactly...but the bruised blue around the eyes? The white? The crimson, jagged slash across the mouth? You want to know where he got those scars? East Rutherford, New Jersey, buddy, right after he rooted for the wrong team.) The Joker has obviously changed his ways. Come to think of it, if I was still in advertising and pitching the NFL (see massive cash outlays), I would totally hack the above five seconds from THE DARK KNIGHT into a spot. Just before a killer kickoff montage. How would that be? That, Don Draper, is a marketing synergistic touchdown. Can't wait until 4 PM.
